Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

The service provider is Ivana Mertová , doing business as Čeština s Ivanou,with registered office at Budovatelů 1141, Kadaň, ID Number: 18298702 (hereinafter “Provider”). These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the Provider and the customer (hereinafter “Client”) purchasing digital products, email courses, or teaching services via the website www.cestinasivanou.cz. By placing an order, the Client confirms they have read and agree to these Terms.

2. Subject of the Agreement

The Provider offers the following products and services:

  • Digital Products: E-books and downloadable materials.
  • Email Courses: Educational content delivered in scheduled sequences via email.
  • Direct Teaching: Personal or group instruction, conducted online or in-person.

3. Order and Formation of Contract

  • The contract is concluded once the Client completes the order form and the payment is successfully processed.
  • The Provider confirms the order by email, establishing the contractual relationship.
  • The Client is responsible for providing accurate information. Costs for communication (internet, phone) are the Client’s responsibility.

4. Digital Products & Email Courses

  • Delivery: Digital content is considered delivered once the download link or the first lesson of the email course is sent to the Client.
  • Instant Access & Withdrawal: By ordering, the Client expressly requests immediate access. Once performance has begun (e.g., the link is sent), the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days is waived in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU.
  • By clicking the purchase button, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw from the contract once the delivery has started.
  • Technical Requirements: The Client is responsible for having the necessary software (e.g., PDF reader) to access the content.
  • Copyright: All content remains the intellectual property of the Provider. The Client is granted a personal, non-transferable license. Redistribution or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
  • Support: If a product does not arrive, the Client should check their spam folder and then contact the Provider at info@cestinasivanou.cz.

5. Direct Teaching (Services)

  • Scheduling: Sessions must be scheduled in advance via email, telephone or Whatsupp.
  • Late Arrivals: Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of the Client’s late arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy: * Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled or refunded.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or “no-shows,” are non-refundable.
  • Provider Cancellation: If the Provider cancels, the Client will receive a full refund or a rescheduled session.
  • Technical Responsibility: For online sessions, the Client is responsible for their own internet connection and equipment.

6. Withdrawal & Refunds

  • Digital Content: The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once digital content has been delivered with the Client’s consent for immediate access.
  • Services: Clients may withdraw within 14 days if the lessons have not yet started. If lessons begin during this period at the Client’s request, only the unused portion is refundable.

7. Liability & Complaints

  • Disclaimer: The Provider does not guarantee specific learning outcomes; results depend on the Client’s individual effort.
  • Complaints: Defective files or services should be reported to info@cestinasivanou.cz. Complaints will be addressed within 30 days.

8. Privacy (GDPR)

  • Personal data is processed for contract fulfillment, billing, and legitimate marketing (e.g., newsletters).
  • Clients can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link provided in each email.
  • No automated decision-making or profiling is performed. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy on our website.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
